Scarves are essential for staying warm in winter-wrap one around your neck to keep the chill out. Today, I'll share a method for knitting a two-colored scarf.

Cast on an even number of stitches using double-pointed needles.

Knit the first and last stitches; for the stitches in between, alternate between knit and purl using the gray yarn.

Knit the first and last stitches; for the middle section, knit the knit stitches normally, but work the purl stitches by dropping and then re-knitting them.

Slip the first stitch purlwise, knit the last stitch, and work the middle section the same way as the second row.

Bind off the stitches from the two needles, and the piece will take shape. Simply repeat these steps to complete the scarf.
